Mark Jauck
Mark is the owner of Marcraft Homes, a family-owned and operated home building company. With a degree from Simon Fraser University in Economics and Commerce as well as a Real Estate Agent’s Licence, Mark is well prepared to oversee all aspects of project development, from land acquisition to product design and development. He has been involved in the building industry since the early 70s as:
- co-founder of a highly successful residential construction company building mostly in the Tri-Cities area where he designed, built and marketed award-winning homes to hundreds of satisfied customers;
- a land developer in the Interior of BC;
- builder of a retirement condominium project in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico;
- and Director of Sales and Marketing for Westwood Plateau, one of BC’s finest and largest residential developments with sales of approximately $100 million of residential land to the building community.
David Harkison David is Director of Construction and oversees labour, materials and the smooth operation of the building process. He orders materials, coordinates the framing crews and ensures costs are in line with budgets. David has a wealth of experience working with large developers and has been involved with every aspect of the construction, design and renovation of homes. David and his family are trained in European craftsmanship as journeymen carpenters, and their mastery of the craft shows in every house they build. His 30 years of experience and creative energy contribute to the overall excellence of home design and construction of Marcraft Homes. David coaches soccer and baseball and plays on an adult’s soccer team.
Matt Jauck As Project Coordinator, Matt overviews the timely coordination of all facets of the home construction process. He ensures that supplies arrive on site on time, coordinates the subtrades, and attends to day-to-day operations. Matt also coordinates customer specifications, processes change orders, and works as a liaison between the sales department and the construction implementation, ensuring information is documented and communicated in a timely manner. Customers can rely on Matt’s strong organizational abilities and detailed accountability. His hands-on approach means that he is most often found on the work site, from the time a house’s foundation is dug to the hard landscaping. Matt has a BCIT diploma in Construction Management and Architectural Design, a two-year program that is well recognized in the industry. Matt loves sports and plays hockey, swims, skis, snowboards and enjoys boating.
Andrea Jauck Andrea is Director of Sales and Marketing. Her knowledge of the specifications of a Marcraft Home combined with her incredible energy make her an important player on the team. She facilitates and coordinates the home buying process, ensuring a customer’s requirements are communicated to and addressed by the construction team. She also expedites all contractual, interior and exterior specifications, and ensures a timely and coordinated flow of information between the home designer, architect and construction team. As a licensed realtor, Andrea can assist potential customers in establishing a realistic market evaluation of their current home, then coordinate the sale of their existing home with the completion and possession of their new Marcraft Home. Andrea is a graduate from Douglas College in Hotel and Restaurant Management and holds a Real Estate Licence. She brings years of management experience from her time in the restaurant business and gained sales and marketing expertise from her position as Sales Coordinator with an industry leader in multi-family developments.
