As a contractor, we act as your buffer and ensure that everything is delivered, installed and completed as per specifications.
We always recommend working with the contractor’s approved and vetted partners – even though they may be more expensive. The benefits go beyond knowing and trusting their workmanship, but also knowing that we can keep them accountable without them trying to drive a wedge between you the client and us the contractor if something comes up.
The flip side of that coin, is meeting and finding new suppliers, materials and processes to work with. Never hesitate to provide your contractor with vendors you would like to use – BUT always trust the final recommendation of the contractor when it comes to these matters.
